Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Exworks.ai ("Exworks", "we") collects through exworks.ai, why, and the choices you have. Exworks.ai is the controller of this data. The policy covers this website only. Data processed on behalf of customers inside the Exworks platform is governed by each customer's agreement and data processing terms.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you email us or book a demo, we receive what you provide, such as your name, work email, company, role and message.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics sets cookies for this purpose.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data, such as IP address, browser and time of request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not collect special categories of personal data through this website, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiries and arrange demos (our legitimate interest in responding to you, or steps you ask us to take before a contract).
- To understand and improve the website (our legitimate interest, or your consent where the law requires it for cookies).
- To keep the website secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Amazon Web Services hosts the website in Europe.
- Google provides Google Analytics.
- Scheduling and email providers handle demo bookings and correspondence.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and correspondence data for as long as needed to handle the relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards, and analytics data for up to 14 months. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email hello@exworks.ai.
Cookies
Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish visitors. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
